Spring is in the air-It’s time for change!

Seasons change so the saying goes...I love expressions and  I am a believer in fanute not ‘twas ever thus!  Some of the weather this past week has reminded me of spring and for that I am grateful. Luckily, I’ve always been a spring girl! My birthday is in spring!  My friend’s mom was a Mary Kay-lady and in high school informed me my face/skin tone  is spring!  Spring is the time when many plants begin to grow and flower. I recently read the book, How to be Happy, Dammit. A Cynics Guide to Spiritual Happiness.  By Karen Salmansohn.  It is quoted in the book that some plants are only meant to last for a season or a certain time. If you try to make them live longer, you will be a bad gardener.  It goes on to say this is true of people, jobs and problems in general.   Perhaps, page 41 of the book was the most helpful to me.  In short it stated if you give a plant direct sunlight and plenty of water when it thrives best in darkness with very little water it will die.  I’ve never had a green thumb.
